I am Rick Gradin, editor of Extra by Rick. I bring more than 27 years of professional experience, with a career built in Brazil and abroad. More than two decades of that journey encompass financial markets, investments, management and international business. Along the way, I have learned to combine strategic thinking, communication and relationships to understand what each person wants to build.
My connection with the United States also comes from living there and attending an American high school. That experience broadened my perspective on culture, communication and relationships between markets. Today, it informs my leadership of Okkla Realty as a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker and my work at Trinity in business consulting.
Education, perspective and international connections
I hold a master's degree in Administration, a degree in Foreign Trade and an MBA in Financial Business Management. My academic background accompanies a career across financial markets, international trade, management and business development. Working in five languages broadens my ability to communicate with people from different cultures and professional environments.
Participation in chambers of commerce connected with Brazil and the United States, and in business networks, is part of that journey. These are settings for exchanging perspectives, connecting markets and building relationships. Awards and professional recognition over the course of my career are also part of that story, alongside leadership experience and the projects I have developed.

At Trinity, business consulting encompasses company acquisitions, franchises, expansion and business in the United States. My contribution is to connect an entrepreneur's vision with the assessment of an operation, business relationships and the professionals involved in the decision. Strategic leadership and communication help translate an intention into clear questions and a path for analysis.
